2. PROJECT TERMS AND SCOPE
After the email contact where the project is outlined by the client, the contractor will help as much as possible with fabric research and arrange an initial/first meeting.
During the first meeting, the project terms, schedule, and contract will be discussed and signed. The pattern cutter will take the client’s measurements, which will serve as the foundation for pattern drafting.
Upon receipt of the initial payment, production will commence. This includes purchasing necessary materials, drafting the pattern, making a toile (trial garment), and inviting the client to a second meeting, which will take place approximately two weeks after the initial meeting.
At the second meeting, the client will try on the toile and the contractor will determine the fit by pinning the toile. From this, the final pattern will be created, and the garment will be cut and constructed from the proper fabric. The client will be contacted four weeks after the start of the project to pick up the garment and make the final payment.
For this project we are hired to create an _______________________ (As seen in the attached photo)
